This is a full-time CT Technologist Team Lead position at our Bloomington Hospital location.  Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11am - 9pm with no weekends and no regular on-call (occasional possibility of holiday coverage). Leadership experience is a plus!

Job Description:

Plans the work flow and employee distributions in advanced imaging modality departments. Provides various lead functions within the advanced modality department while providing functional guidance to staff. Assists with oversight of quality programs and advanced modality accreditation. Verifies technologists are following and using current policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensures staff interacts with patients and others in a positive manner and are competent to care for patients from pediatric through geriatric. Success is accomplished by promoting a team-oriented and service conscious environment.  

  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. 
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning. 
  • Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) , Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), as required per specific modality. Must have an advance imaging credential in a modality where working as a team lead. May be required to have additional certifications dependent on department needs. Exception: Team Leads working in Interventional Radiology are encouraged but not required to meet the advanced credential requirement.
  • Requires license from Indiana State Department of Health, as required per specific modality.
