Job description

The Leader is responsible for the management of the CAD Money Movement Funding Team. Acting as a key client liaison with several internal ADP departments and external clients, the Funding Manager's focus is to manage IMMS client facing relationships, enforce credit policy and control, address FCRM (Financial Crimes and Risk Management) needs while providing total client satisfaction. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for the pro-active resolution of client issues and for the identification of opportunities for new services and/or products within the established client base.

Duties and Responsibilities

Funding Management

Coordinate and monitor all daily functions for the funding department and establish work flow. Oversee management of existing wire client base of more than 3000domestic and international companies. Ensure cash forecast meets existing variance SLAs, manage all ADP Credit Policy exceptions and that they are properly resolved. Oversee US Reverse Wire client transactions and all supporting processes. Escalation management of clients who process outside of normal payroll deadlines, associated fees and client impact.

Coaching and Development

Coaching of associates on communication skills, Individual Development Plans, succession planning, Talent and Performance Management. Design annual departmental objectives in line with corporate goals and divisional initiatives. Identification and placement of top talent in project and assignments suited to their skill set and pre-determined career path/goals.

Relationship Management

Relationship Management between internal and external clients, Canadian and International ADP stakeholders and global institutions. Maintain close working relationships with Service Delivery, Finance, Implementation business units to assist in escalation resolution and exception processing. Regularly coordinate with other departments to resolve escalated client funding issues and mitigate risk to ADP. Cultivate relationships with representatives from major financial institutions to ensure funding process externally is efficient, compliant and effective.

Case Resolution

Senior point of escalation for financial issues and providing timely resolution via collaborating with internal and external clients, ADP stakeholders, senior management and business partners. Ensure all case management and documentation is accurate and in accordance with preset SLAs. Create measurable metrics for the Funding Team and Associates for case resolution and contact quality. Manage all escalated situations from internal ADP partners to resolution in coordination with all ADP resources. Responsible to review and develop and implement policies, procedures, services and products within the Funding Teams

Qualifications

Education:

  • Post Secondary Education
  • Finance/Banking or Leadership training preferred

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to co-ordinate work initiatives and must be detailed and solution-oriented
  • Previous management experience (typically 3-5+ years)
  • Strong operational knowledge of ADP products sufficient to understand a full spectrum of client issues

and offer reasonable and workable solutions

  • Coaching/mentoring and experience with performance management
  • Well-developed presentation skills, with experience in providing presentations to large groups
  • Proven ability to work in an environment committed to teamwork and experience in cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven track record of delivering results or meeting business targets

Preferred:

  • Project Management/implementation experience - (LSS) Demonstrated ability to manage projects
  • Minimum 5 Years business experience with a background in Financial Services or related experience
  • Experience in quality and client focused leadership expectations
  • Leadership and people management
  • Data driven decision making
