Key Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual psychotherapy to clients dealing with mental health issues related to substance abuse.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans that leverage solution-based interventions.
• Administering therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the substance abuse recovery process.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records in line with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care for clients, leveraging diverse professional insights to optimize treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Step By Step Social Work, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including adults and adolescents facing substance use disorders accompanied by co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
