Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full Time
Description: At Bama, the Shipping and Receiving Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist is expected to understand and perform a minimum of 2 warehouse job functions and tasks. This position would be directly responsible for ensuring a high-quality safe product while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices. The Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for working in multiple positions which could be at any Bama facility.

Duties: • Understand Shipping / Receiving and warehouse processes and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility. • Assist in Troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions. • Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle Driver • Must participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting. • Understand quality standards, follow those standards and know what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle Driver • Must participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting.
Required Qualifications: HSD/GED. • Understand warehouse guidelines for food safety and sanitation. • Computer skills in AS400, Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, and Email. • Experience with sit down and stand-up forklift operation.
