Location: Boca Raton, FL
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of our office building. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of building systems—including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs—and will ensure the property operates efficiently, safely, and in excellent condition for all tenants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
·         Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, elevators).
·         Manage Preventive Maintenance Program and respond to service requests promptly. 
·         Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing issues (leaks, clogged drains, fixtures).
·         Assist with electrical repairs, lighting replacements, and low-voltage systems.
·         Support HVAC operation, including filter changes, system checks, and vendor coordination.
·         Maintain common areas, mechanical rooms, and exterior grounds in clean and safe condition.
·         Monitor and record equipment performance; report issues to management. 
·         Maintain inventory list for building supplies.
·         On-call service as determined by the Property Manager
·         Assist with vendor/contractor oversight for larger projects.
·         Respond to emergency situations such as power outages, water leaks, or equipment malfunctions.
·         Assist in the maintaining of all common areas including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, pressure  washing, etc.
·         Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes.
·         In general, be proactive in maintaining the aesthetic appeal of the property.
·         Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing maintenance concerns in a professional manner.
·         Conduct move-in/move-out inspections. Document through photos and videos.
·         Actively work with Property Manager to maintain budget and minimize site expenses.
Qualifications
·         High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
·         2+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field.
·         Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
·         Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
·         Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
·         Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that require bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
·         Strong communication and customer service skills.
·         Basic computer proficiency specifically comfortable with Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
·         Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or be on-call for emergencies.
