Job description

Job Summary

Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversees its organization, estimate/bid, and project scheduling.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare project plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Create estimates/bids and project sequence/scheduling
  • Prepare proposals, estimate budgets
  • Create cost/revenue projections from plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Adhere to B&F Code of Conduct


Requirements

  • 2+ years of estimating experience
  • 2+ years' experience in underground project estimating/management (dry, wet, or rehabilitation)
  • Team player
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates/bids at a time
  • Experience in project budget creation
  • Experience in scheduling, forecasting, submittals, and job meetings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word as well as experience with estimating software including Bid2Win, Microsoft Project, or similar programs
  • Must have valid AZ driver license with favorable driving record

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to:

  • Computer screen eye strain and fatigue
  • Sedentary office work with long periods of sitting
