Are you an experienced construction worker with strong truck and trailer towing skills, hands-on concrete/foundation experience, and a willingness to tackle challenging specialty structural projects? American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier foundation repair, soil stabilization, and structural concrete contractor based in SeaTac, WA to hire a dependable, full-time Skilled Laborer / Construction Driver. In this high-variety trade role, you will safely operate company work trucks with attached utility trailers, perform concrete leveling via polyurethane foam injection, execute structural concrete demolition/repair, install carbon fiber and epoxy supports, and perform crawl space foundation restorations. If you bring a clean driving record, trailer towing confidence, and physical stamina, let's get you on the crew!
Description for Skilled Laborer / Driver:
  • Safely operate company work trucks and haul utility/equipment trailers to regional project sites.
  • Perform specialized polyurethane foam injections for lifting and leveling settled concrete slabs.
  • Assist with structural foundation repairs, seawall restorations, trench excavation, and concrete demolition.
  • Install structural carbon fiber straps, epoxy injection systems, and reinforcing hardware.
  • Work safely in confined residential crawl spaces and beneath home foundations to stabilize footings and piers.
  • Maintain equipment, pumps, and hand/power tools, ensuring clean and organized work trucks and trailers.
  • Strictly adhere to jobsite safety standards, PPE requirements, and trench/excavation guidelines.

Details for Skilled Laborer / Driver:
  • Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour starting base wage.
  • Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday (30-40+ hours per week).
  • Shift Hours: Day Shift (7:00 AM start time).
  • Travel Requirement: Occasional out-of-town project travel required (approximately 1-2 times per month).
  • Location: SeaTac, WA dispatch hub (servicing regional Puget Sound project sites).
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term career growth.

Requirements for Skilled Laborer / Driver:
  • Driving & Towing: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record + minimum 2+ years of verified experience driving a work truck and safely maneuvering/backing utility trailers.
  • Construction Background: Prior hands-on experience in concrete, demolition, excavation, remodeling, or general construction.
  • Working Environments: Comfortable working outdoors in all PNW seasonal weather conditions, as well as in tight crawl spaces beneath structures.
  • Travel: Willing and able to travel out of town for project deployments 1-2 times per month.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently, shovel, dig, climb, and perform active physical labor all shift.
  • Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and a safety-conscious attitude.
