Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and safety-driven Field Excavation Supervisor to lead and manage our on-site excavation crews. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of construction activities, equipment operation, and ensuring that our plumbing projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales: Manage the sales process from start to end for home and business owners.
  • Crew Leadership: Direct and supervise excavation crews, assigning daily tasks and monitoring crew productivity.
  • Site Management: Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless daily site operations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce all OSHA safety regulations, conduct daily toolbox talks, and maintain proper use of trench shoring and heavy equipment.
  • Quality Control: Interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure mass grading and utilities are executed correctly.
  • Project Documentation: Track and report daily progress, labor hours, and materials used.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3+ years of direct experience as an Excavation Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Crew Lead.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency in safely operating and supervising the use of heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and grading plans.
  • Compliance: Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
