Description:

The Excavation Laborer is responsible for working on the construction site running heavy machinery and performing manual labor to prepare the job site as instructed by The Excavation Supervisor. This individual is a team player, who has a wide array of responsibilities, which change based on the job site and project. This individual’s duties span from cleaning the job site, excavation work, hauling dirt, cleaning equipment, snow removal, etc.

Requirements:
  • Maintain consistent communication among field crew members by use of hand-signals or radio to align and position heavy equipment properly.
  • Perform manual labor to prepare the job site.
  • Clean work area, removing debris, transporting material to and from the site, operate machines and trucks.
  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate a skid loader and mini excavator in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Hauling dirt and other discarded materials.
  • Cleaning equipment.


Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be an insured motorist.
  • Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.
