Job description

VACANCY NOTICE

Position: English Language Learners Teacher, Grades 5-8 
Location: Roosevelt Middle School
Starting Date:  August 14, 2026 
Salary/Benefits: BA, Step 1, $54,579 to MA+60, Step 25, $124,877. (Additional compensation may be available for stipend opportunities.) TRS Pension and sick leave. If selected, other benefits include medical, dental and life insurance, HRA, Roth, 403b and 457 investment options, flex spending, etc.


Qualifications: a) Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an English as a  Second Language Endorsement. 
                          b) A Master's Degree is preferred.
                          c) Successful teaching experience is preferred.
 


Job Duties: The English Language Learners Teacher will meet the needs of limited English proficient students.
