Position Title: Elementary Special Education Teacher (K-5)

Terms of Employment: 10 month position, 6.67 hours per day
Salary: Per the terms of REC Collective Bargaining Agreement

Summary/Objective:  

Riverside School District 96 is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The successful candidate will maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, collaborate with staff and families, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with special education requirements while promoting student achievement and independence.

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) registered in Region 06 West Cook
  • LBSI Endorsement
