Job description

Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing x-ray examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing various medical conditions. This role requires effective communication with patients and a commitment to ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patients' comfort.
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences.
  • Monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
