Scope Summary
The Coordinator, Exam Development manages all aspects of workshop logistics. This role plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and successful SME workshops held at CompTIA's HQ office suite. This role provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and logistical support for the Exam Services team.
This candidate needs to be based in the Chicago area and will be required to come onsite 50% of the time.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position and eligible to receive 1.5 times your hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain the calendars/schedules of the Exam Services Team for both workshop related meetings and/or internal CompTIA business meetings
  • Order all catering along with beverages and snacks (as needed) for workshops and communicate with applicable departments/staff regarding catering logistics
  • Create, maintain, and improve (as needed) electronic record-keeping for agreements, applications, resumes, and other SME-related information and data.
  • Support Exam Services Team by handling vendor/ participant billing/invoicing
  • Support exam development team by creating, maintaining, and improving electronic filing systems for SME NDA's, SME applications, SME resumes, and SME database
  • Manage pre- and post-workshop communication with SMEs and Exam Services team.
  • Create SME access accounts and account testing
  • Coordinate post-workshop communication and set up and compile results of SME survey; Compile and distribute CEU letters
  • Handle all SME-related invoicing, voucher requests and complete credit card receipt tracking, coordinating with accounting as needed
  • Facilitate item review sessions during Exam Development workshops, including collaboration sessions and potential other session types
  • Support exam services team by performing exam quality reviews, producing score reports, and performing quality reviews as needed
  • Co-manage remote item writing efforts as needed.
  • Act as back up when necessary, by covering the basic roles and responsibilities of the other members of the Exam Services team. (i.e., access to secure documents, security room, SFTP site, and manage SME meetings, etc.); assist in the facilitation of workshops as needed
  • Attend occasional dinners with SME groups as a CompTIA liaison.
  • Other administrative duties as needed.
