Job Description
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support Mission critical production environment along with Validation, Test and Development environments including On-call role (24/7)
  • Supporting Triaging issues and Providing root cause analysis
  • Provide solution to improve system Performance tuning/optimization.
  • Capacity planning amp; Forecasting
  • Proactive monitoring and address potential issues
  • Oracle DB amp; eBusiness Suite (EBS) cloning, Patching, Upgrade
  • Backup amp; Restore of Database and Applications
  • Maintain and Support to Keep DR system in sync with prod
  • Support Change migration to various environments
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Information Technology or related technical discipline
  • 7+ years' experience within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) applications environment (installation, configuration, upgrade, patching). Preferably R12.2.x environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and performance testing and optimization
  • Experience in OBIEE, SOA, Oracle IDM/SSO, GRC installations, configuration, patching and production support
  • Experience in designing, developing, and testing updates and new enhancements within RDBMS and Oracle DB Concepts.
  • Capacity planning and High Availability configuration with DR setup and configuration experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in archive and purge solution for EBS R12.2
  • Experience with Informatica archive solution
  • Knowledge and expertise on change migration tools
  • Knowledge and expertise on automation (Shell, Perl scripting)
  • Knowledge of Exadata engineered systems
