Job description

Sr. Oracle EBS DBA
Summary
We are seeking a senior, hands-on Oracle EBS Applications DBA to support and administer Oracle EBS 12.2.14, Oracle Databases, and Oracle Exadata environments.  This individual will serve as a key resource responsible for production support, administration, patching, performance tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting for mission-critical Oracle systems.  We need a senior Oracle EBS professional who can step in immediately, provide production support, lead Oracle EBS and Exadata administration, and operate independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of Oracle Database administration experience.
  • 5+ years as an Oracle EBS applications DBA.
  • Extensive Oracle EBS 12.2.x administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • ADOP Online Patching;
    • EBS Cloning & Environment Refreshes;
    • WebLogic, Concurrent Manager, workflow;
    • Oracle Database 19c+;
    • Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN;
    • Oracle Exadata administration and support.
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux administration.
  • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with Oracle patching, upgrades, performance-tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.

Preferred

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Microsoft Azure-hosted Oracle environments.
  • Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Oracle certifications (OCP, Exadata, OCI).
  • Experience with Oracle module implementations and third-party integrations.
  • Automation and scripting expertise.
