Job Title: Environmental Services Aide

Job Description

The Environmental Services Aide plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by delivering high-quality housekeeping and sanitation services. This position supports the overall operation of a wellness treatment center by ensuring all assigned areas meet established cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and friendly environment for patients, visitors, and associates through consistent housekeeping and sanitation practices.
  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including furniture, fixtures, floors, and high-touch surfaces in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Perform cleaning tasks in nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and other assigned spaces to ensure they remain orderly and hygienic.

  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment safely and effectively to sanitize and maintain various types of surfaces.

  • Experience performing janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services duties.
  • Ability to perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other general cleaning tasks.
  • Basic English speaking skills to understand instructions and communicate with staff and visitors.
