The IT Programmer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, automating, and supporting the Credit Union's business applications, reporting environment, and enterprise data solutions. This role partners closely with business leaders to understand operational needs and translate them into secure, scalable technology solutions that improve efficiency, enhance the member experience, and support strategic decision-making.The position serves as a technical resource for Symitar programming, business intelligence, reporting, workflow automation, system integrations, and application development. Responsibilities include designing reports and dashboards, developing custom applications and interfaces, automating manual processes, maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting enterprise technology initiatives.This role works collaboratively across all departments, including Lending, Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, Compliance, and Information Technologyโ€”to improve business processes through technology while ensuring solutions align with security, regulatory, and governance standards.Success in this position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to balance technical expertise with a customer-service mindset.
