Job description

Haas CNC Mill Setup Specialist

Step into a true job-shop settingโ€”where no two days look the same and we are not a production shop. Youโ€™ll arrive to a fresh mix of parts, pull the right tooling, and set up Haas CNC milling centers to deliver precision work.

A day in the shop

Youโ€™ll review drawings and engineering information to map out methods and sequences. With fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials in hand, youโ€™ll align and secure everything on the machine, using overhead cranes when needed. Youโ€™ll dial in feeds and speeds, watch the process closely, and make edits if required to keep parts within tight tolerances. Throughout the day, youโ€™ll collaborate with a small, capable teamโ€”self-directed yet supportiveโ€”while operating with minimal supervision.

What youโ€™ll handle
  • Set up, adjust, and operate Haas CNC milling centers for precision machining in a job-shop environment
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
  • Use overhead cranes for safe, accurate part and fixture handling
  • Monitor feed and speed during machining; perform edits when needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering data to determine operation sequences, methods, and required tolerances
  • Select appropriate tools, machines, and materials to prepare and execute work
What you bring
  • 5โ€“10 years of hands-on machining experience
  • Thorough understanding of Haas CNC milling setup and operation; experience with HAAS is a plus
  • Ability to determine product dimensions and tolerances from drawings
  • Self-starter mindset, strong team orientation, and comfort working with minimal supervision
Compensation

Pay $28-$35Hr Based upon experience
