Position Overview

Everyone Counseling Services is actively seeking a passionate and qualified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to individuals and families, focusing primarily on those dealing with mood disorders. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients suffering from mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual client's needs, aspirations, and circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and actionable self-care techniques to foster recovery.
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, applying new knowledge to improve client strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with ethical and legislative guidelines.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and support initiatives to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many of our clients belong to vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors. Your compassionate approach and expert care will play a pivotal role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• Valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in establishing trustworthy and therapeutic relationships with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental stance towards clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience treating diverse client populations, particularly those facing significant life challenges.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions relevant to mood disorders.
• A background in trauma-informed care is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
