Job description

Pathways is a small private day school serving special education students. The Jr. High and High School program is in need of an additional certified teacher to join our team. The home room case load is 8-10 students with some additional students being seen for a specific content area.

Only special education certified teachers will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities include

  • Development of initial and annual IEPs as a contributing team member
  • Implementation of specialized curriculum (curriculum and training will be provided)
  • Clear record keeping toward annual goals and all learning outcomes
  • Clear and regular parent communication
  • Team collaboration
  • Daily duty schedule
  • Quarterly progress reports
  • Participation in all staff training and team building exercises
  • Participation in quarterly school events

Salary depends on experience and certification. The salary range for this position is $52,000 and above.
