Job description

Senior Event Program Manager - Global Flagship Event (HCM)
Role Overview
ADP is seeking a Senior Event Program Manager to support planning and delivery of our global flagship event and other key events as necessary.
This role serves as the central coordinator across event workstreams, ensuring teams are aligned, decisions move forward, and plans are executed on time. The Program Manager works closely with the Event Leadership team to drive consistency, clarity, and follow-through across a complex, multi-stakeholder initiative.
This is a hands-on execution role, focused on connecting teams, tracking progress, resolving issues, and keeping the program moving.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination & Execution
  • Support the development and management of the overall event plan across workstreams
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure execution stays on schedule
  • Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of program status, risks, and next steps
  • Help drive accountability by following up on commitments and removing blockers

Workstream Alignment
  • Partner with workstream leads across Global Events, Marketing, Sales, Product, Content, Sponsorship, and Operations
  • Ensure each team has clear deliverables, timelines, and ownership
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, or misalignment and work with teams to resolve them
  • Support coordination of dependencies across teams

Decision Support & Communication
  • Prepare clear, concise updates for the Event Leadership team
  • Help organize regular check-ins, working sessions, and milestone reviews
  • Drive and capture decisions, track action items, and ensure follow-through
  • Communicate changes, priorities, and updates across stakeholders

Risk & Issue Management
  • Track key risks, issues, and dependencies across workstreams
  • Surface potential problems early and help coordinate solutions
  • Escalate issues when needed with clear context and recommended actions

Operational Support
  • Create and maintain simple tools, trackers, and templates to support execution
  • Help establish consistent ways of working across teams
  • Contribute to building repeatable practices that can be used for future events

Stakeholder Partnership
This role works closely with:
  • Event Leadership (strategy and direction)
  • Global Events Team (execution and production)
  • Cross-functional leads across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations
  • The Program Manager helps ensure all teams are aligned and able to deliver effectively.

Qualifications:
Required Experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or event program support
  • Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage timelines, track deliverables, and drive execution

Core Skills
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Clear, direct communication style
  • Ability to bring structure to complex workstreams and develop PowerPoint presentations to executive stakeholders
  • Practical problem-solving and decision support
  • Comfortable working across teams without direct authority

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting large events, conferences, or marketing programs
  • Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in global organizations
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

Success Measures
  • Workstreams stay aligned and on track
  • Risks and issues are identified early and managed effectively
  • Teams have clarity on priorities, timelines, and responsibilities
  • Event Leadership has clear visibility into progress and decisions
  • The event is delivered on time and aligned with business goals

Scope Clarification
This role does not directly manage event logistics or production but works closely with the Global Events Team and partners to support successful delivery.
