We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARYThe Director of Operations will be responsible for the management of the facilities operations for both Elizabethtown Sports Park and Steelgrove Amphitheater including but not limited to maintenance, housekeeping, retail, front of house event management. The Director of Operations will also work closely with other departments in hiring, training, and staff scheduling for event and facility operations team members.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Support in the hiring process, training, and development of facility team membersEnsure staff readiness for events and proper event and safety proceduresOversee front-line managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with SFC policies, safety regulations, and other applicable lawsOversee event operations and administration, including detailed coordination of event setup, ingress, egress, gates, parking lots, and final operational readinessServe as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) as needed, including event and weekend coverage as assignedNegotiate and manage vendor contracts and working relationshipsLead cross-functional coordination and communication across the Events team and other internal departmentsDevelop and manage budgets, control expenses, and oversee facility maintenance and inventory reportingOversee proper cash handling procedures and required certifications, ensuring renewals remain currentCreate and monitor leadership team schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage for eventsWork with the General Manager and Finance Manager to develop KPI reports and support the facility business plan and executionPromote company culture and expectations to staffPerform other duties as assignedAll additional tasks assigned by ManagementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree in recreation, sports management or related field and 3-5 years appropriate experience preferredFood service and food service management experience preferredMust have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skillsMust be a team playerMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified periodPrior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversightWell organized, efficient, flexible, and able to meet deadlinesWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noise
