As a Banquet & Events Associate, you'll be a valued part of Fourwinds Lakeside Inn & Marina. This seasonal, hourly position is centered on our banquet and events operation, primarily evenings and weekends with the flexibility to pick up additional hours across hotel departments when needs arise. It's a hands-on opportunity to learn every facet of lakeside hospitality.

Renowned for its lakeside lodging, full-service marina, and relaxed dining and entertainment, Fourwinds offers guests a complete lakefront experience. With its scenic views and welcoming atmosphere, Fourwinds remains a cornerstone of the Lake Monroe lifestyle for both visitors and the local lake community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Banquet & Events Support:

  • Set up, prepare, and break down event spaces before and after functions.
  • Provide attentive, professional guest service throughout weddings, banquets, receptions, and special events.
  • Assist with food service, catering support, and safe food handling as needed.
  • Bartend during receptions, private functions, and resort events.
  • Prepare linens, decor, place settings, and other event details to ensure a polished guest experience.
  • Work closely with the Events Manager and team members to support smooth, successful events.

Floating Hotel Support:

  • Provide Front Desk coverage as needed, delivering warm and welcoming guest service.
  • Support Housekeeping with room preparation, guest requests, and property needs as needed.
  • Fill in as a Restaurant Server when additional support is required.
  • Respond flexibly to hotel-wide needs and assist wherever needed to support the guest experience and daily operations.

  • Must pass background check. 
  • Professional, polished, and guest-focused presence. You represent Fourwinds in every interaction.
  • Genuine warmth, a positive attitude, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Reliable evening and weekend availability to support our event schedule.
  • Calm, composed, and adaptable in a fast-paced lakeside resort environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior hospitality, banquet, event, or food service experience preferred; motivated newcomers are welcome to apply.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
