What You'll Do
As the Senior Manager, Corporate Events, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-profile corporate events that elevate leadership engagement, strengthen organizational culture, and support enterprise business objectives. Working closely with senior executives and cross-functional partners, you will align event experiences with corporate priorities, reinforce key messaging, and enhance the associate and agent experience while driving measurable impact. Operating across both strategic and executional levels, you will shape the vision for corporate events, influence investment and engagement strategies, and oversee budgets, contracts, executive involvement, and event delivery to ensure exceptional experiences and flawless execution. This role requires strong strategic thinking, executive partnership, financial acumen, and team leadership, along with the ability to translate business goals into impactful experiences that inspire audiences and deliver meaningful outcomes across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, business goals, brand guidelines, communication strategy to lead the corporate communications events team with a cohesive approach that resonates with key internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with the CMO, senior executives, and cross-functional partners to ensure events strategically support business objectives, reinforce corporate messaging, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Hire, develop, and mentor the Events team, including performance management, career development, and succession planning. Provide coaching and regular feedback to ensure team growth and high performance.
  • Oversee event technology platforms, ensuring effective use of registration systems, attendee tracking, and engagement tools. Manage vendor relationships to optimize event technology solutions.
  • Lead comprehensive budget oversight, including purchase orders, vendor payments, and financial forecasting. Collaborate with Finance to optimize event spend and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Define and track event success metrics, including attendee satisfaction, engagement levels, and ROI. Use data insights to refine event strategies and enhance future outcomes.
  • Lead the planning and execution of various corporate events, including company-wide celebrations, incentive trips and strategy summits ensuring each aligns with broader strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to determine event goals, themes, budgets and timelines.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and leadership to develop event proposals, agendas, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Communications, HR and Brand, to ensure cohesive event messaging and branding.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective event planning and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget and meet high standards of quality and attendee experience.
  • Lead on-site event coordination, managing real-time issue resolution to ensure flawless execution, smooth leadership involvement, and a high-quality attendee experience.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, communications, marketing or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale corporate events, including event strategy, budget management, vendor and venue partnerships, contract negotiations, logistics, on-site execution, and collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to project manage multiple events, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support event planning, execution, and onsite leadership.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using event management, registration, and attendee engagement platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash, Bizzabo, RainFocus, Aventri, Whova, ON24, or similar) to support event planning, execution, and reporting.
