Job Description:

The Events Associate supports the design, planning, and execution of firm-wide events by managing event platform configuration, coordinating logistics, and partnering with key stakeholders to deliver a cohesive attendee experience. In collaboration with the Manager, Travel and Events, the Events Associate develops event timelines, recommends delivery and format approaches, and coordinates cross-functional resources to ensure event objectives are met.

The role exercises discretion and independent judgment in sequencing event components, configuring event platforms (e.g., Cvent), recommending vendor solutions, and managing attendee communications. The Events Associate reviews event data and feedback to recommend improvements to program content, delivery methods, and engagement. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills, and the ability to make decisions that directly influence event outcomes and attendee experience.

Responsibilities

Platform Configuration & Technology Enablement (35%):

  • Own event build and configuration in Cvent including website, registration, mobile app, housing/travel modules, and reporting.

  • Evaluate configuration options and recommend solutions to meet event needs and attendee experience goals.

Event Planning & Program Coordination (30%):

  • Plan and coordinate event logistics including venue requirements, travel/accommodations, attendee profile needs, session design, run-of-show, and stakeholder communications.

  • Make recommendations to leadership on format, sequence, and vendor selection.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination (15%):

  • May manage vendor and supplier relationships including coordinating deliverables, negotiating timelines, monitoring service levels, and escalating issues to leadership when needed.

  • Track associated event expenses and vendor invoices.

Event Production (Virtual, Hybrid & In-Person) (10%):

  • Produce virtual and hybrid event experiences including platform setup, speaker coordination, technology support, testing, and contingency planning.

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement (10%):

  • Analyze event data and attendee feedback to recommend improvements for future events and inform event strategy, design, and engagement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, associates degree preferred

  • 1+ years of experience required

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Strong ability to build relationships

  • Exemplary customer service skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask/work on multiple projects

  • Travel up to 15%

The pay rate ranges for this position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by avariety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience,qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographiclocation. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
The national pay rate range is $20.23 to $49.10
