Description
The Marketing Associate position will support the Experiential Marketing Manager by assisting in the planning, executing, and promoting of trade shows and other marketing events. This role involves coordinating event logistics, creating engaging content for both live events and digital platforms, engaging with our online community, and assisting in post-event/campaign follow-up to ensure a strong brand presence, effective customer engagement, and positive ROI.
Requirements for success:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all trade shows and industry events, including booth design, material preparation, and logistical coordination.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns specifically for trade shows to drive booth traffic and generate leads. GME.COM
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative trade show strategies and enhance brand visibility at events.
  • Manage social media accounts to promote upcoming trade shows, provide live event updates, and engage with attendees.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns for tradeshows and social media to drive booth traffic, generate leads, and increase online engagement.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and external vendors to ensure all tradeshow initiatives are effectively implemented.
  • Assist in the creation and setup of engaging trade show displays and product demonstrations.
  • Develop compelling copywriting for trade show collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Conduct post-trade show follow-up activities, including lead nurturing and performance analysis.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information related to event planning and customer data.

Ideal candidate qualities include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Arts or other related fields preferred.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite), including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms such as LinkedIn & Facebook for event promotion.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools to track performance and KPIs.
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event planning or tradeshow support, is a plus.
