Job description

Summary Responsible for the safety, security, and maintenance of all activities related to Special Event programs. Responsible for the safety and security of staff, patrons, facilities and functions pertaining to the event. Provides excellent customer service, including greeting customers, taking care of customer requests and maintaining order during special events.

During event, will check restrooms for cleanliness and re-stock supplies as needed. Enforces rules and policies of the Agency. Assures facility is open and available at appointed time, closes/locks facility, and performs clean-up of facilities and trash pick-up when event is over.

Assists other staff as needed. May receive calls during event, completes reports and provides detailed information relating to special events and other Agency activities. MUST BE AVAILBLE TO WORK ANY AND ALL SPECIAL EVENTS.

Job Duties Must be properly dressed and groomed to meet the public and supervise events. Works flexible schedule depending on activities scheduled. Patrols/monitors all public areas associated with the activity.

Documents any concerns or corrective actions needed. Supervise patrons, participants and officials and enforces all rules, policies and procedures of the Agency. Responsible for keeping all areas securely locked, except for areas in use.

Be observant, walk through the area being used, as well as other areas accessible to users, monitor for problems or potential of such and handle appropriately. Ability to deal effectively with patrons, associates and the general public. Must be observant of visitors and give assistance to any who need direction.

Ability to respond to emergency situations such as accidents, altercations between patrons, etc. Check before and after events to ensure that all conditions are safe. (i.e

Trash picked up and properly disposed of, equipment returned to proper location, facility locked, note any damage or problems and notify supervisor.) Perform other related duties as required. Hours are dependent upon Activity schedule - Maximum of 29 hours per week. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: None Licenses and Certifications: None Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and write

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Knowledge of overall functions of the Agency.
