Marketing & Events Coordinator


The Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for increasing awareness of New Horizons through strategic marketing, communications, recruitment marketing, community engagement, and special events. This position develops creative campaigns that promote the organization's mission, attract talented employees, strengthen community partnerships, increase event participation, and celebrate the achievements of individuals served. Working collaboratively across all departments, the Marketing & Events Coordinator helps position New Horizons as both a provider of choice and an employer of choice throughout Southeast Indiana.

Job Qualifications

  • Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, Journalism or related field preferred

  • Experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content

  • Experience with graphic design software

  • Experience with photography, videography, website management, and email marketing preferred
