Position Title:

Facilities & Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Facilities and Operations, the Facilities and Operations Coordinator is responsible for working, as directed, toward the execution of a successful department. This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of game and event logistics, as well as the management and maintenance of athletics facilities. This position ensures a safe, high-quality environment for student-athletes, staff, and spectators while maintaining compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating and executing all home athletic contests and special events
  • Serve as one of the liaisons for game-day operations, including coordination of officials, teams, media, security, parking, and emergency services for specific sports.
  • Learn the processes and set-ups for video boards, scoreboards, game clocks, audio systems, and replay systems.
  • Assist in overseeing crowd management, security operations, and emergency preparedness for all events
  • Assist with hosting responsibilities for conference and NCAA events
  • Assist and support external events such as receptions, banquets, camps and clinics
  • Complete facility walkthroughs and keep track of maintenance projects
  • Assist with inventory and organization of team equipment and apparel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Have an interest in athletics, facilities, and/or event management
  • Be reliable, punctual, and have good communication skills
  • Self-motivated, yet able to work in a team environment
  • Must be responsible and accountable
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
  • Please note, this position includes office hours, athletic events, and non-athletic events.
  • Some night, holiday, and weekend commitments will be required

Hours/Benefits
