Job description

Thunderbird Entertainment Inc. is seeking a highly organized, creative, and strategic Event & Promotions Supervisor to lead all property-wide events and promotional initiatives. This role oversees the planning, execution, and performance of casino promotions, VIP experiences, community events, and property-wide celebrations. The Event & Promotions Supervisor will ensure that every promotion and event enhances guest engagement, supports revenue goals, and elevates the Thunderbird Casino brand.

This role requires hands-on leadership, strong collaboration across departments, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

The Event & Promotions Supervisor will work hours appropriate to meet the needs of the operational needs, which may include nights, weekends and holidays.

  • DEMONSTRATES CAPACITY TO PERFORM DUTIES EXHIBITING THE HIGHEST ETHICAL STANDARDS, INCORPORATING BEST PRACTICES, EXEMPLIFYING THE VALUES EXPECTED WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT, AND FOR PROMOTING THE MISSION AND VISION OF THE ORGANIZATION.
  • MAKE APPROPRIATE DECISIONS THAT REFLECT POSITIVELY ON CASINO.
  • MAINTAIN PROPER COMPLIANCE AT ALL TIMES WHILE ADHERING TO DEPARTMENT P&P, TICS, SICS AS WELL AS TITLE 31 TRAINING AND GUIDELINES THEREIN.
  • PLAN, LEAD, AND EXECUTE ALL CASINO EVENTS INCLUDING VIP PARTIES, ENTERTAINMENT NIGHTS, ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS, HOLIDAY EVENTS, AND LARGE-SCALE PROMOTIONS.
  • DEVELOP DETAILED EVENT SCHEDULES, TIMELINES, AND PRODUCTION PLANS; MANAGE ALL LOGISTICAL ELEMENTS.
  • OVERSEE EVENT SETUP AND BREAKDOWN, ENSURING BRAND STANDARDS AND GUEST EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS ARE MET.

WORK DIRECTLY WITH VENDORS, ENTERTAINMENT ACTS, DECOR PROVIDERS, AND INTERNAL TEAMS TO DELIVER SEAMLESS EVENT EXECUTION.

  • DEVELOP ENGAGING PROMOTIONS THAT DRIVE GUEST TRAFFIC, INCREASE PLAY, AND SUPPORT CASINO REVENUE GOALS.
  • WORK WITH THE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING TO CONCEPT AND EXECUTE MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND ANNUAL PROMOTIONAL CALENDARS.
  • COORDINATE WITH PLAYERS CLUB, IT, FINANCE, AND SECURITY TO ENSURE ALL PROMOTIONS ARE COMPLIANT WITH TRIBAL GAMING REGULATIONS.
  • HELP PREPARE AND SUBMIT INTERNAL CONTROLS (ICS) AND PROMOTIONAL DOCUMENTATION TO REGULATORY AGENCIES AS REQUIRED.
  • OVERSEE THE FUNCTIONALITY OF EVENTS RELATIVE TO GUEST EXPERIENCE.
  • COLLABORATE WITH MARKETING, VIP SERVICES, FOOD & BEVERAGE, OPERATIONS, AND FACILITIES FOR SUCCESSFUL CROSS-DEPARTMENTAL EXECUTION.
  • PROVIDE CLEAR COMMUNICATION TO ALL DEPARTMENTS INVOLVED IN UPCOMING EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS.
  • ENSURE ALL EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS REFLECT THUNDERBIRD CASINO'S BRAND IDENTITY AND GUEST EXPERIENCE STANDARDS.
  • MONITOR GUEST ENGAGEMENT AND FEEDBACK TO IMPROVE FUTURE PROMOTIONS AND EVENT QUALITY.
  • CREATE REPORTS FOR EVENTS AND PROMOTIONS BASED ON ROI AND GUEST FEEDBACK.
  • ASSISTS WITH CAPTURING EVENT CONTENT FOR SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE FEATURES, AND DIGITAL MARKETING CAMPAIGNS.
  • MANAGE EVENT AND PROMOTIONS BUDGETS, TRACK EXPENSES, AND ENSURE COST-EFFECTIVE EXECUTION.
  • PROVIDE POST-EVENT AND POST-PROMOTION REPORTS INCLUDING ATTENDANCE, ENGAGEMENT METRICS, FINANCIAL SUMMARIES, AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
  • MAINTAIN ACCURATE DOCUMENTATION FOR COMPLIANCE AND AUDIT PURPOSES.
  • OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED OR REQUESTED BY MANAGEMENT.
