Job Description Summary
The Events Promotions Specialist role is responsible for supporting and executing key experiential marketing initiatives for the LaCroix Sparkling Water brand. This position will execute marketing objectives and tactics to support strategies developed by the Consumer Promotions Manager while assisting in the planning and execution of regional events, sponsorships, and brand activations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about events, brand marketing, and consumer engagement and is looking to grow their career in experiential marketing.
Responsibilities
Consumer Event Activation & Brand Promotions
โ€ข Execute promotional strategies and support brand marketing initiatives.
โ€ข Participate in the development and execution of brand objectives and strategies.
โ€ข Support product placement opportunities, sponsorships, and promotional activations.
โ€ข Source and research new leads for sponsorships, partnerships, and event opportunities.
โ€ข Identify, plan, organize, and manage events and activations.
โ€ข Coordinate all event logistics, including shipping product, barrel coolers, wearables, event setup materials, staffing, inventory management, etc.
โ€ข Serve as onsite support or lead for activations, ensuring smooth execution and positive brand representation.
โ€ข Travel to events and manage onsite teams, builds, and event execution.
โ€ข Frequent regional travel (30-50%) with occasional national travel required.
โ€ข Capture event data and assist with post-event recaps and reporting.
Agency, Vendor & Team Management
โ€ข Manage and communicate brand strategies to brand ambassadors and promotional staff.
โ€ข Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and managing outsourced agencies and promotional personnel.
โ€ข Support the management of promotional agencies, vendors, and event partners.
โ€ข Collaborate with internal marketing, digital, social media, and sales teams to support broader marketing initiatives.
โ€ข Work closely with social media personnel and provide backup support to the digital, trade, and social media teams as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
โ€ข Research & source promotional items for Events, Marketing campaigns, and client engagement.
โ€ข Track and reconcile event budgets, invoices, expenses, and budget reporting.
โ€ข Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting setup, and event schedules.
โ€ข Prepare expense reports and PowerPoint presentations.
โ€ข Maintain marketing digital files and event documentation.
โ€ข Assist with sample mailings to consumers.
Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
โ€ข 2-4 years of experience in events, experiential marketing, consumer promotions, or brand marketing.
โ€ข Beverage, consumer packaged goods, public relations, events, or promotions agency experience is a plus.
โ€ข Strong understanding of marketing processes with the ability to execute marketing campaigns and activations.
โ€ข Outstanding organizational, project management, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Experience interviewing, hiring, training, or managing promotional staff is preferred.
โ€ข Experience managing or coordinating with outside agencies and vendors preferred.
โ€ข Familiarity with social media and e-marketing methodologies is a plus.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
โ€ข Passion for consumer engagement, wellness, and lifestyle brands.
โ€ข Familiarity with Northeast or West Coast/Pacific event markets is a plus.
โ€ข Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends.
โ€ข Ability to lift and transport event materials.
โ€ข Must be able to pass a Company drug screen and background check.
