Job description

ARISE HOMES: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

ABOUT ARISE HOMES

Arise Homes is a fast-growing new home builder and developer dedicated to delivering beautiful, quality homes at an accessible price point. We've built a strong reputation in the Kansas City metro — and we're just getting started. If you're looking for a place where your work genuinely matters, where the culture is something people talk about, and where growth isn't just a buzzword — you've found it.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a fun-loving, culture-driven team that is building something special. As Administrative Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our office operations — keeping things running smoothly, supporting our team, and contributing to a workplace people love to be part of. This is a great opportunity to grow with a company that is expanding quickly, with real potential to take on more responsibility as we do.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 — Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams are part of your daily toolkit
  • Exceptionally organized with strong time management skills — you keep the trains running on time
  • Clear, confident communicator who is warm and approachable with everyone you meet
  • A natural multi-tasker who handles interruptions with grace and keeps moving forward
  • Detail-oriented — the small things don't get past you
  • Self-directed and proactive — you anticipate needs before they're asked
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Open to learning, growing, and stepping up as the company grows around you

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Office Operations & Administration

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations
  • Order and manage office supplies and inventory
  • Perform general office duties including data entry, copying, scanning, and mailing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Team & Vendor Support

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Book travel arrangements and accommodations
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner

Systems & Special Projects

  • Assist with managing employee cell phone plans
  • Support the administration of the company vehicle tracking system
  • Assist with event planning for team and company events
  • Perform other duties as assigned — we're a growing company and no two days look exactly the same

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Employee Support Manager.

HOURS

This is a part-time position, 20–25 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8am–5pm. Occasional lunch meetings may be required.

MORE THAN A JOB

At Arise Homes, we invest in our people — professionally and personally.

  • Professional development through lunch and learns, leadership workshops, and ongoing training opportunities
  • Community service and volunteer opportunities
  • Counseling services and solo retreats
  • Vision trips
  • Monthly all-staff events
  • $500 company match to a non-profit of your choice
  • A fun, collaborative team culture where people actually enjoy showing up

BENEFITS

  • Competitive compensation with bonus potential
  • Paid time off
  • Real opportunities for advancement as the company grows
