Job description

Craig’s is seeking an organized, hospitality-driven Event Coordinator to support our Event & Marketing Manager with private dining and special events.

This role combines event administration, guest communication, and on-site coordination. The Event Coordinator will manage inquiries and planning for smaller private dining parties while supporting the Event & Marketing Manager with larger events and special projects.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and coordinate private dining inquiries for parties of approximately 20 guests or fewer
  • Communicate with guests throughout the planning process, including menus, timing, setup, and special requests for smaller private dining parties
  • Create custom event menus using established templates and prepare/update BEOs
  • Assist with event setup and ensure spaces are prepared according to event details
  • Coordinate with managers, culinary teams, and service staff to ensure event details are clearly communicated
  • Maintain a light but attentive floor presence during events to ensure everything is running smoothly
  • Assist with day-of event coordination and troubleshooting as needed
  • Help source rentals, décor, supplies, and other materials for larger events
  • Provide administrative and event support to the Event & Marketing Manager as needed

Schedule

The anticipated schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. The role balances afternoon administrative and planning work with an evening presence during private events.

Occasional adjustments to scheduled days or hours may be required based on event and business needs.

Compensation

This position will be paid hourly (based on experience) and will be eligible for commission based on event sales.

The position will work closely with the Event & Marketing Manager and has the opportunity to evolve as Craig’s private dining and events business continues to grow.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
