Job description

Halcyon Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals who are active, retired, or former United States military to help brighten the lives of our veteran patients and their families. Whether you are assisting with a veteran pinning ceremony, veteran-centered events, or directly visiting veteran patients for companionship, you can make a difference in the lives of hospice patients. You might find that your life becomes brighter, too!

Halcyon Hospice serves patients and families in your area as we cover eleven counties in central Mississippi. We are seeking new volunteers to provide a wide variety of services to our veteran families. Our vet-to-vet volunteers visit patients wherever they call home to provide companionship and socialization, help our team with pinning ceremonies, and help with veteran events. These are just a few of the ways veteran volunteers in our organization support our vets.

Even if you only have a few hours a month to give, we would be honored for you to be part of our team of hospice professionals to support our mission of offering compassionate, personalized care. Training is free and flexible to fit your schedule, and you can choose the area you want to serve.
