Job Summary
The Athletics Ticketing Student Assistant position will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Department.
Job Description
Job Duties:
  • Sell tickets using Paciolan Ticket Software for FGCU ticketed sporting events (Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball)
  • Manage Home and Away team pass lists for FGCU ticketed sporting events
  • Scan tickets and gatekeep at FGCU ticketed sporting events
  • Provide exceptional customer service to FGCU fans and away fans to assist with ticketing needs and questions
  • Assist with setup and take down for FGCU ticket operations at events
  • Provide customer service to incoming calls during box office operating hours.
  • Make outbound sales calls to prospective customers for Mini Plan Sales, Season Ticket Sales, and Single Game Ticket Sales

Additional Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
  • Enrolled as a degree seeking student at Florida Gulf Coast University at the time of hire and throughout the appointment. Must have a minimum GPA 2.5 and be in good conduct standing with the University.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for up to three hours at a time and work in all weather conditions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
