Brand Ambassadors for Saturday Farmers Markets

employment type: part-time, 8:15am-3pm every Saturday. There is also a possibility of additional days on Thursdays and Sundays.

Local craft beverage company is looking for Brand Ambassadors to sample and sell our delicious, artisan-brewed, organic, beverage at Saturday Farmers Markets and other events on Saturday's from April 11 through Thanksgiving.


We’re looking for fit, health-minded, outgoing people between the ages of 18-50 who enjoy meeting people and helping to enrich people’s lives. This is a part-time gig which pays $20/hr and is perfect for students, recent-grads, or anyone looking to make some extra money on weekends. Experience with sales, bartending, food handling/service is a plus but not required. Must have driver’s license since we will provide a van which you will drive 15 minutes to the markets. Candidates must have a reliable car and smartphone.
This part-time gig consists of loading our van at our brewery in South Norwalk at approximately 8:15am with cases and bottles of our product and driving the van to the market (20 minutes away). Once you are there, you will set up an event tent, unload product and signage about 5 feet away from van in a parking lot. You will give out samples in cups and help educate customers on our product, and use a ipad POS system to manage transactions/cash. The event ends at 2pm, then you break things down, load the van and go back to brewery to unload. You should be done by 3pm.

Responsibilities will include:

Being reliable, organized and polite
Setting up a simple event tent and table.
Learning about and sharing our beneficial product to others-always with a smile and enthusiastic attitude.
Working a simple ipad POS system and handling cash.
Dispensing cups/cans to customers
Lifting 40 lb keg out of a vehicle.
Standing for 4-6 hours at a time
Communicating results/issues to us in a clear, concise manner
Being drama-free
Ability to work independently

This is a fun and easy job, but requires some physicality to load product into the van and set up the tent and product quickly It will get busy for about 2 hours each day with customers, they slow down for a few hours. You have to be able to multi-task and take care of customers without stressing out.
