Event Execution
  • Ensure all banquet events are set up, staffed, and executed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
  • Complete room setup, décor placement, table arrangements, buffet lines, bars, and service stations
  • Confirm event spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready before every function
  • Manage timelines so events start and finish on schedule
  • Adapt quickly to last-minute event changes or guest requests

Guest Experience
  • Provide a high level of hospitality to banquet hosts and guests
  • Act as the main point of contact during events to resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Ensure service standards are upheld throughout the event
  • Anticipate guest needs and create a smooth, memorable experience

Team Leadership
  • Lead, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff
  • Communicate clear expectations before each event
  • Hold staff accountable for service standards,
  • Support staff during high-volume events and lead by example on the floor
  • Foster teamwork between banquet, kitchen, bar, and management team.

Communication & Organization
  • Make sure that all BEO's, CC AUTH's are submitted and printed two weeks prior to the event.
  • Review BEOs daily and communicate all event details to FOH and BOH teams
  • Work closely with chefs, and FOH managers to ensure accurate execution
  • Maintain strong communication before, during, and after each event
  • Ensure all changes, special requests, allergies, and timelines are clearly relayed to the team

Financial Responsibility
  • Manage banquet labor to align with sales and business needs
  • Monitor supply usage and help control operating costs
  • Support profitability through efficient staffing and execution
  • Minimize waste, breakage, and unnecessary overtime
  • Understand revenue goals and help drive banquet success

Standards & Cleanliness
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in banquet spaces and storage areas
  • Ensure equipment is properly set, stored, and maintained
  • Enforce health department standards, food safety, and alcohol service policies
  • Confirm all breakdown and reset duties are completed after events

Problem Solving & Accountability
  • Stay calm under pressure and make effective decisions during service
  • Handle complaints or operational issues professionally and immediately
  • Take ownership of event success from start to finish
  • Follow through on details and hold the team accountable for execution

Professionalism
  • Show up on time- If you're going to be late, you need to reach out to your manager (Maki) letting them know.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Be dependable, flexible, and available during nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
  • Represent the company positively with clients, guests, and team members
  • Demonstrate urgency, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset
