SUMMARY
The Marketing and Event Specialist plays a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events to promote and represent the organization. The role is responsible for overseeing events that enhance brand visibility, engage the target audience, and align events with the broader marketing goals. This role requires strong organizational and project management skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
  • Collaborates with marketing team to identify target audiences and develop campaigns that engage, inform, and motivates clients
  • Develops expertise on Arete's capabilities, differentiation, and messaging to core audiences
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to create content for various communications channels.
  • Coordinates with designers and other content creators to ensure deadlines are met and content is delivered on time
  • Measures and analyzes marketing performance to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns
  • Researches and analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to create effective marketing plans

Events
  • Coordinates events, including conferences, trade shows, recruiting events, and corporate functions
  • Develops event concepts, themes, and objectives in line with the company's marketing strategy
  • Executes against event timelines and work plans, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Assists with venue selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management
  • Collaborates with internal teams to develop event agendas, content, and presentations
  • Coordinates event promotion through various channels, such as social media, email marketing, and advertising
  • Coordinates CLE (Continuing Legal Education) events for Arete

May perform other duties as assigned by management
