Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Membership and Event Coordinator plays a key role in driving revenue growth and community engagement for Precision Shooting Center. This position focuses on selling memberships, building relationships with local businesses and organizations, and coordinating private events, corporate outings, and group experiences. You’ll develop partnerships, promote packages and memberships through proactive outreach, plan and execute events that showcase our unique simulator offerings, and ensure every booked experience runs smoothly. Availability to open or close the facility as needed is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives on sales, networking, and creating memorable experiences for guests and groups.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary: $20 - $24 per hour, plus commission

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell memberships through in-person conversations, outreach, and follow-up, clearly communicating value and benefits to individual guests, families, and groups.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporate groups, law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and other potential partners to drive group bookings and recurring business.
  • Coordinate private events, corporate outings, team-building experiences, parties, and special group sessions—handling inquiries, proposals, bookings, logistics, and on-site support.
  • Promote packages, private suites, CQB experiences, and add-ons through friendly, natural conversations and targeted outreach.
  • Track membership sales, event bookings, and related metrics; provide regular updates and insights to support business goals.
  • Open and/or close the facility according to established procedures and protocols as needed.
  • Greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and support front-counter operations during slower periods or as staffing requires.
  • Collaborate with the manager, owner, and team to deliver smooth operations, high customer satisfaction, and successful events.
  • Ensure guests and event participants understand and follow facility guidelines for safe and enjoyable simulator use.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of systems, technology, and training offered to ensure ability to appropriately discuss offerings.
  • Collaborate with owner on marketing initiatives and potential promotional offerings to drive sales.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Proven sales, membership, or business-development experience (retail, hospitality, entertainment, fitness, or similar guest-facing/sales roles).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with a genuine passion for customer service.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities (sales pipeline, event coordination, facility support).
  • Strong computer skills and willingness to quickly learn new software programs (including simulator management systems like Smokeless Range or similar, CRM, and booking tools).
  • Enthusiasm for the business and genuine excitement about simulation-based shooting experiences.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel for networking, partner meetings, trade shows, and off-site events as needed.
  • Flexibility to open or close the facility and work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support events and peak traffic.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • College degree in business management, marketing or similar fields.
  • Experience coordinating events, group bookings, or corporate sales.
  • Background in entertainment venues, gaming centers, VR/AR facilities, fitness clubs, or similar membership-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with firearms, shooting sports, or simulation training.
  • Military, law enforcement, or security background.
  • Experience working for a range or simulation training facility.
  • Familiarity with simulator software (e.g., Smokeless Range or similar systems).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS

 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry objects weighing 50+ lbs, and perform dynamic movements (e.g., running, kneeling, prone positions).
  • Work in an indoor environment with simulator screens, lighting effects, haptic feedback, and audio systems.
  • Exposure to moderate noise from simulators, group activities, and sound effects; hearing protection may be recommended in certain areas.
  • Strict adherence to all safety protocols, statutory requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to match peak customer traffic.
