Job description

Gunstock is now hiring Function Servers at $30/hour! The Function Server will play a major role in ensuring a pleasant experience for Gunstock's guests who attend catered breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, receptions, weddings, and other organized group affairs involving food and beverage service. As a guest-focused organization, it is the responsibility of all resort employees to create a WOW! experience for our guests. Schedule will be based on bookings for events.

Function Servers may serve as few as ten or as many as hundreds of guests. Style of service may range from casual to formal, involving passed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, buffets, or highly coordinated multi-course meals in which each guest is served at the same time.

The Function Server will actively participate in the preparation, set-up, service, break-down and cleanup of catered functions. Their highest priorities will be to support overall experience and guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service while maintaining Gunstock's standards for safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.

Other requirements:

  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
  • Must have previous event serving or catering experience.
