Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Conference Services Manager and lead the planning and execution of group events, conferences, and banquets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and excels at coordinating details, managing client relationships, and delivering seamless events.
Position Details
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends based on events)
  • Department: Sales & Catering / Events What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for group and conference clients
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events from booking through completion
  • Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
  • Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, operations, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless execution
  • Upsell event enhancements including menus, themed events, activities, and additional services
  • Maintain accurate event details in systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Sales & Catering platforms
  • Communicate event timelines and requirements to all stakeholders
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise
  • Support revenue growth through client engagement and service excellence

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in conference services, event management, or hotel/resort operations
  • Prior supervisory experience in food & beverage or banquet operations preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities
  • Experience with systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Valid driver's license required
