Their duties include setting up venues, assisting guests, managing equipment, and ensuring that events run smoothly from start to finish. They often work as part of a team under the supervision of an event manager or coordinator and may interact with vendors, caterers, and attendees. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in this role, as is the ability to problem-solve quickly during live events.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be an event services associate?

To thrive as an Event Services Associate, you need strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and experience in event coordination, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant hospitality coursework. Familiarity with event management software, audiovisual equipment, and basic office technology is typically required.
