Villa Bellezza is seeking an experienced, energetic Event Sales & Delivery person to sell, plan, and coordinate weddings, corporate events, private dinners, celebrations, and other events at our winery in Pepin, Wisconsin.  We provide the romance of an Italian village in the heart of Wisconsin. Our Tuscan-inspired vineyard offers a breathtaking backdrop for any event, combining Old World charm with Midwest hospitality.

This is a customer-facing sales and coordination role. The successful candidate will work with prospective clients from their first inquiry through the successful completion of their event.  The Event Sales and Coordinator reports to our General Manager-Hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to event inquiries and develop prospective clients into booked events.
  • Conduct tours and consultations with prospective clients.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, menus, and event plans.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning process.
  • Coordinate event details with Villa Bellezza's restaurant, culinary, beverage, facilities, and event teams.
  • Develop detailed event schedules and ensure that commitments made to clients are communicated and executed.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, including florists, photographers, entertainment, rental companies, and wedding professionals.
  • Be present for major events as appropriate and help ensure successful execution.
  • Follow up with clients following events to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective events and follow up systematically on open opportunities.
  • Help develop new sources of event business, particularly weddings, corporate events, private dining, and group events.
  • Maintain accurate event information, contracts, deposits, and customer records.

What We Are Looking For

The strongest candidates will have:

  • Experience in event sales, event coordination, hospitality, catering, hotels, restaurants, wedding venues, resorts, wineries, or a related business.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with prospective customers and close sales.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Confidence managing multiple events and clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment and the ability to solve problems during live events.
  • Comfort working with customers during important occasions.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends when events require it.

Prior winery experience is not required.

Compensation

Base salary of approximately $58,000–$65,000, depending on experience, plus a performance-based incentive program tied to event sales and successful execution.
