Job Summary

Summary:  The Suite Runner is responsible for delivering food and beverage items to from the kitchen to designated suites in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.  In this position, the runner should have an understanding of the content of the menu and ensures that food is delivered in a timely fashion. The runner should understand and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and help with the execution of area setup and breakdown.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored.
  • Expedite the first and initial order of food. After, work hand in hand with servers to continue effectively delivery for all goods ordered.
  • Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
  • Follows set up and break down processes efficiently.
  • Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
  • Performs post event product inventory and restocks as needed.
  • Understands all event paperwork and reports.
  • Always exceeds guest expectations.
  • Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Maintains prep and service areas.
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
  • Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Understands the importance of maintaining equipment.
  • Helps fellow employees whenever necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Duties

  • Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
