SUMMARY

The Janitorial Technician performs entry-level housekeeping, janitorial, event support, and waste removal duties across the Boulevard Brewing Company campus. This position works under the direction of the Janitorial Lead and supports the cleanliness, safety, and readiness of campus facilities, including offices, public spaces, restrooms, event rental spaces, and other assigned areas. The position assists with cleaning before and after event rental business, scheduled campus cleaning needs, and other duties as required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs entry-level cleaning and janitorial duties across campus, including public spaces, offices, event areas, restrooms, break rooms, and other assigned spaces
  • Manages waste and recycling daily, including emptying containers, replacing liners, organizing recycling areas, and transporting waste to designated removal zones.
  • Cleans and stocks private and public restrooms, including paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other supplies
  • Supports cleaning and preparation of event rental spaces prior to scheduled rentals, private events, and internal corporate meetings
  • Assists with post-event cleaning, waste removal, and general upkeep of event spaces
  • Complete initial and ongoing safety trainings
  • Preform simple maintenance repairs as assigned
  • Report on maintenance issues or safety hazards
  • Communicates supply needs and additional cleanings to the Supervisor
  • Work under the direct supervision of the facilities lead

  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy waste receptacles, salt bags, and equipment weighing up to 5075 lbs.
  • Continuous standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Capacity to perform sustained physical labor over extended shifts.
  • Frequent overhead reaching, stretching, and ascending/descending stairs or ladders to change lightbulbs and clean high surfaces.
  • Fine motor control to operate hand tools, power tools, and commercial buffers, alongside close visual acuity to inspect cleanliness and operate equipment safely.
