Job description

Event Promoter

$350–$450 per day + uncapped performance bonuses

Unique Bath of Seattle
Greater Seattle & Puget Sound
Part-time, seasonal W-2 | Primarily weekends + occasional weekdays

About the Role

We’re looking for an outgoing, confident Event Sales Lead who knows how to work a crowd and turn conversations into qualified in-home appointments.

We build walk-in showers. At home shows, fairs and festivals, your job is not to sit behind a booth and wait for people to approach you.

You’ll engage people, create natural conversations, identify homeowners with a real bathroom project and schedule qualified appointments for our sales team.

If you can read a room, make strangers comfortable and confidently ask for the appointment, you may be a great fit.

What You’ll Do
  • Approach and engage people at home shows, fairs and festivals
  • Create energy and keep the booth inviting
  • Work the crowd instead of waiting for people to come to you
  • Ask questions to identify genuine bathroom projects
  • Demonstrate shower systems, samples and our digital visualizer
  • Set qualified in-home appointments
  • Manage multiple conversations without becoming pushy or scripted
  • Keep lead information accurate
  • Help with booth setup and teardown
  • Eventually help train and lead additional event staff

Performance pay is uncapped. Paid weekly.

A strong three-day show can pay approximately $2,800.

You’ll be measured on appointments, completed appointments, sales, lead accuracy, reliability and event execution—not brochures handed out or names collected.

Growth Opportunity

We’re building our event marketing department from the ground up.

The right person can grow into:

  • Event team leader
  • Recruiter/trainer for additional demonstrators
  • Event calendar and show manager
  • Responsibility for event performance and profitability
  • Eventually, ownership of the entire event marketing channel

Our goal is to grow the right person into the department leader.

Someone who consistently produces appointments, drives sales and builds a successful team can grow this into a six-figure opportunity.

Schedule

Most events are on weekends, but occasional weekday availability is required.

  • Home & remodeling shows: Friday–Sunday
  • Senior/community fairs: usually Wednesday or Thursday, 4–6 hours
  • Festivals/street fairs: usually Saturday, sometimes Saturday–Sunday

The role begins with approximately four events in September and October and can expand as our calendar grows.

What We’re Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Are outgoing, confident and comfortable approaching strangers
  • Know how to work a room and read body language
  • Can create energy without being pushy
  • Can manage several conversations at once
  • Are comfortable asking for an appointment
  • Have experience in sales, hospitality, restaurants, retail, events, fundraising or home improvement
  • Like being measured on results
  • Are dependable and available for weekend work
  • Can occasionally work weekday daytime events
Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel throughout Greater Seattle and the Puget Sound area
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Background and driving record check
This Role Is Not For You If…

You prefer to sit behind a booth, wait for customers to approach you, avoid performance-based compensation or are uncomfortable approaching strangers.

We’re looking for someone who can work a room, create trust, produce appointments and grow with the company.

If that sounds like you, apply today.
