ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Marketing Project Manager to support the successful execution of integrated marketing initiatives for a portfolio of client accounts. Working in close partnership with a Senior Project Manager, you will help coordinate timelines, manage project workflows, facilitate communication, and ensure projects move efficiently from kickoff through final delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving projects, balancing multiple priorities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work alongside strategists, account managers, designers, copywriters, digital marketers, developers, and production partners while continuing to grow your project management expertise within a collaborative agency environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Management

In coordination with the Senior Project Manager, manage the day-to-day execution of multiple client marketing projects by maintaining timelines, tracking milestones, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring work progresses efficiently from initiation through completion.

Client Communication

Support client relationships by participating in meetings, documenting action items, communicating project updates, and ensuring client requests, feedback, and priorities are accurately reflected in project plans. Help deliver an exceptional client experience throughout each engagement.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination

Work closely with strategists, account managers, designers, copywriters, digital marketers, developers, media partners, and production teams to ensure clear communication, alignment on priorities, and timely completion of deliverables.

Workflow & Resource Management

Maintain detailed project schedules, task assignments, documentation, approvals, and project records within Asana and other project management tools. In coordination with the Senior Project Manager, assist with resource planning and workload balancing across active projects.

Quality, Budget & Delivery

Help ensure projects are delivered accurately, on schedule, within approved scope and budget, and aligned with client objectives, brand standards, and internal quality expectations.

Risk Management

Monitor project progress to identify potential risks, bottlenecks, scope changes, or scheduling conflicts. Communicate concerns proactively and collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to develop solutions before they impact project delivery.

Process Improvement

Contribute ideas that improve agency workflows, communication, documentation, project management processes, and overall operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONSExperience

2 to 5 years of project management or project coordination experience within a marketing agency, advertising agency, creative agency, branding agency, nonprofit organization, consulting firm, or similar client-service environment. Experience managing multiple client projects simultaneously is strongly preferred. Experience supporting mission-driven or faith-based organizations is a plus.

Skills

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and a high level of client service.

Technical

Experience using project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and similar tools. Familiarity with marketing campaigns, branding, creative production, website projects, digital marketing, content development, or event production is preferred.

Professional Qualities

Highly organized, dependable, adaptable, and solutions-oriented. Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment, balancing shifting priorities, taking initiative, and collaborating effectively while receiving mentorship and guidance from senior leadership.

CONTRACT DETAILS

This is a contract-based, independent contractor role. Hours will vary based on project needs and assigned client work. Compensation will be structured according to agreed-upon contract terms. As an independent contractor, you will manage your own schedule, equipment, and tax obligations.
