Project Manager – Aluminum Railing

Lindahl Aluminum Ltd. is a growing commercial aluminum railing company based in Langley, BC, serving major construction projects throughout the Lower Mainland and expanding into new markets.

We operate in a fast-paced, collaborative, and casual work environment while maintaining a highly organized and technology-driven approach to project delivery. Our operations are supported by a fully integrated ERP and project management system, providing our teams with real-time information across project management, drafting, production, logistics, installation, and invoicing.

We are looking for a motivated Project Manager who wants to take ownership of projects and grow with our organization.

The Role

The Project Manager will work closely with the Director of Project Management / General Manager and coordinate with clients, consultants, drafting, production, accounting, logistics, and field installation teams.

You will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from contract award through production, installation, and final closeout, ensuring projects meet quality requirements, schedules, specifications, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from contract award through completion and closeout
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, site teams, and internal departments
  • Coordinate shop drawings, engineering, RFIs, approvals, production, delivery, and installation
  • Review drawings, specifications, site instructions, and project documentation
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and short-term look-ahead plans
  • Conduct regular site visits and monitor installation progress
  • Coordinate production requirements with drafting and manufacturing teams
  • Manage change requests and ensure cost and schedule impacts are identified, documented, and approved
  • Coordinate project invoicing, SOVs, and billing-related matters with accounting and clients
  • Monitor project quality and address technical or site-related issues
  • Coordinate material delivery, site logistics, and installation requirements
  • Manage deficiencies, inspections, documentation, and final project closeout
  • Maintain accurate and current project information within our ERP/project management system

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3 year of project management experience in construction or a related industry
  • Experience in aluminum railing, glazing, building envelope, architectural metals, or similar construction trades is an asset
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, shop, and fabrication drawings
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple active projects and hard deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Comfortable working in a technology-driven and ERP-based environment
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, production teams, and field crews
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to take ownership of assigned projects
