We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly organized Events Program Manager to join our Global Travel & Expense team. This role is responsible for leading the sourcing and operational execution of small- and medium-sized corporate meetings and events while helping build and scale Snowflake's global Meetings & Events program.
This position focuses on internal events, executive meetings, customer-facing business events, offsites, and group travel, partnering closely with Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Legal, Workplace, Security, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with strategic thinking and is passionate about building scalable programs, optimizing supplier partnerships, implementing technology, leveraging AI, and delivering exceptional attendee experiences.
As an Events Program Manager, you will:
  • Lead sourcing and end-to-end operational execution for small- and medium-sized meetings, offsites, executive meetings, trainings, customer engagements, and internal business events.
  • Manage venue sourcing, contract negotiations, room blocks, group air, and ground transportation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand event objectives and recommend scalable, cost-effective event solutions.
  • Help build and operationalize Snowflake's global Meetings & Events strategy, including governance, intake processes, planning standards, service models, and operational best practices.
  • Develop and manage preferred supplier relationships.
  • Lead sourcing events and RFPs while negotiating favorable commercial terms and driving measurable cost savings.
  • Partner closely with the Global Travel team to coordinate attendee air travel and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
  • Support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of meetings and event technology, including sourcing platforms, venue booking tools, registration systems, reporting solutions, payment capabilities, and future AI-enabled workflows.
  • Build dashboards, reporting, and KPIs that provide visibility into event spend, supplier performance, savings, attendee experience, policy compliance, and program health.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve automation, and enhance the user experience through technology and AI.
  • Develop playbooks, documentation, and standardized processes that enable scalable event planning across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, risk management requirements, and financial controls throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, supplier innovations, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the Meetings & Events program.
  • Support additional strategic Travel & Expense initiatives and cross-functional projects as the program evolves.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Event Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing corporate meetings and events, strategic sourcing, travel management, hospitality, procurement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating venue, hotel, and supplier contracts.
  • Experience managing group travel and complex meeting logistics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience developing reports, dashboards, and program metrics.
  • Experience implementing or administering meetings, travel, or event technology platforms (Cvent, Groupize, HRS, Navan, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging automation, AI, or workflow technology to improve business processes is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CMP, CMM, or related credentials are a plus.
