Job description

Delta Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Diagnostic Respiratory Therapist to join our Cardiopulmonary Department. In this role, you will provide high-quality cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic testing, rehabilitation services, and patient education for patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
What You'll Do
  • Perform cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic testing, including EKGs, Holter/Event Monitors, stress tests, spirometry, pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, blood gas analysis, and six-minute walk tests.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients during diagnostic testing and cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Develop individualized exercise and rehabilitation plans.
  • Educate patients on respiratory disease management, medications, oxygen therapy, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain and calibrate cardiopulmonary equipment and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current Colorado Respiratory Therapist license required.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required upon hire.
  • PALS certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • RRT/CRT credential through the NBRC preferred.
  • One year of acute care, emergency, or ICU experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of pulmonary function testing, cardiac rehabilitation, and respiratory therapy equipment.
