What started as a single party in a dive bar in East L.A. and has since blossomed into a recurring celebration in over 50 cities across the United States. Our events bring together music lovers, artists, and pop culture icons, creating a space for nostalgia, discovery, and community-building.
Emo Nite has come a long way since that first party in 2014, hosting full-day festivals and curating performances at major events like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Firefly. THE ROLE
Emo Nite is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Intern to join the production team in Calabasas, CA. This position will be a hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-paced, setting. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Production Manager & Production Coordinator in maintaining, updating, and organizing company databases and calendars including but not limited to Airtable & Google calendars
  • Assist PM & PC in coordination with Emo Nite teams in different regions regarding event operations leading up to the event and day-of details as needed
  • Assist PC in all of their roles and responsibilities including but not limited to, theme research and scenic procurement, staffing parties and advancing with said staff and venues, booking travel etc
  • Aggregate information used to create content for Emo Nite digital outlets, i.e. Emo Nite Radio and Emo Nite's social pages and help shoot content where needed
  • Assist onsite at Emo Nite events where needed, including but not limited to Grave Raves, Festivals, etc
  • Assist PC with organizing and maintaining physical Emo Nite warehouse space
  • Serve as a runner and help with errands that arise week to week and for larger events
  • Assist PM with merch management for OOT parties and line launches
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge and interest in music industry ,emo/rock music, and Emo Nite's brand
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and functions
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with project management tools like Asana or Airtable is a plus
  • Must have valid drivers' license and vehicle

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and drastic temperature climates while working on site at various event location
  • Must be able to work in open concept office space

Hourly Rate: $18.00 USD
