Were a young company, looking to hire a recent college grad for the summer to help out with events and production.

Job Description

Looking for someone that wants to get in on the ground floor of an event management/production company. No Experience necessary. Duties would be once or twice a week starting out and then ramping up to full time as the event timeline progresses.ย 
- Manage all project delivery elements within financial and time constraints, including event planning, design and production.ย 
- Partner with clients to identify their needs, understand requirements for each event and ensure customer satisfaction.ย 
- Book venues and schedule speakers.ย 
- Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost.ย 
- Negotiate contracts with vendors prior to closing any deals.ย 
- Hire personnel as needed to meet event requirements.ย 
- Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.).ย 
- Complete final checks on day of event to ensure everything meets standards.ย 
- Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.ย 
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.ย 
- Conduct pre- and post - event evaluation and report on outcome.ย

Qualifications
